Former train station built on the occasion of the World Fair of 1900, this elegant building located at the very heart of Paris has been transformed into a museum with intelligence and sensibility by the architect Gae Aulenti. Today it hosts an amazing collection of artworks dating from 1848 to 1914, one of the richest moments in the entire occidental art history. 

Under its imposing vault you will meet academic  painters, romantics, neoclassics, realists, impressionsts (an entire gallery is dedicated entirely to this mouvement), post-impressionists, nabis, symbolists.
